What is the fabric content?
Scrubs are made from 100% cotton fabrics so they’re light weight and breathable.
How do I care for my scrubs?
Cold, gentle machine wash and line dry in shade are best for your tops and will help them to last longer.
A light iron will keep your scrubs looking sharp.
Extended exposure to sunlight *may* cause the print to fade (as it would for any fabric).
Which style should I choose?
The princess seam style has a 3 panel front with darts and shaping in the back. It has 1 left chest pocket with pen slot, right chest ID loop, 2 large lower pockets and 1 right lower inner pocket.
The relaxed fit style is a unisex top with very little shaping, it still has a set-in sleeve for added movement. It has 1 left chest pocket with pen slot, right chest ID loop and 2 large lower pockets.
Which size should I choose?
Please see the size charts to check your size, if you’re in between sizes please size up.
To use the measurements chart, lay an existing top flat and compare to the measurements on the chart – they are not body measurements.
How long does it take?
Please check the banner at the top of the page for the most accurate turn around times.
For most of the year custom orders are made & shipped in 1-3 weeks (depending on the queue at the time you order). After August the wait time grows – it depends on the number of orders waiting but can be as long as 8 weeks.
ready-to-ship items ship within 2 working days unless stated differently in the web banner.
Why don't you have fabrics with my character on them?
Character images/artworks are owned by the companies that make the movies/TV shows. They require certain permission and licenses for use to avoid legal action.
Can I send my own fabric?
You sure can! Please use the chart to see how much is needed for your style and size. Look for poplin (light weight), quilting cotton, twill, drill or duck (both heavier). The amount you will need depends on the style and size of top to be made. Fabrics with characters/brands/teams are welcome – I just can’t supply them.
How much fabric should I buy?
For Spotlight fabrics, use the chart below to purchase the right amount of fabric. For other suppliers please contact me first. Any excess fabric will be returned to you.

What type of fabric should I buy?
100% cotton fabrics work nicely and you’ll find a great selection of fun prints. Some polyester fabrics can be also be used.
If you’re purchasing from Spotlight look for poplin (light weight), quilting cotton, licensed, drill or duck (both heavier weight).
Where are you located?
I work from home in beautiful Gymea Bay, Sutherland Shire, South Sydney. Local pickup is welcome, please contact me to arrange.
Do you take group orders?

Is there a discount for large/group orders?
Orders of 5+ tops receive complimentary regular shipping, orders of 10+ tops receive complimentary express shipping
Are they made in Australia?
Most of the scrubs are made by me, Amber, at my home in beautiful Southern Sydney. I’m a professionally trained and experienced seamstress working with professional industrial clothing production machinery.
But there's only so many shirts one woman can make and so scrub tops made from our comfort fit 2% stretch base are made off-shore.
How are the seams finished?
All seams are professionally finished and overlocked. Seams are back-stitched and secured so they won’t start to unravel. Though I work from home, I am a professionally trained and experienced seamstress with the appropriate machines to make a beautifully finished garment.
Do you have a store front?
Not currently. If you’re local to Sutherland Shire and want to try on sizes and styles please contact me. Local pickup can also be arranged.
I’ve lost weight, can you alter my scrub tops?
Yes! I can reduce the size for just $15/top. Any shipping expenses are to be paid by the customer.
