Hi, I’m Amber — the maker, dreamer, and one-woman engine behind The Wyld One.

This little scrub top business began in the first COVID lockdown, when I had to pause my work as a bridal couturier. I went to my sewing machine and started making scrubs from home, fuelled by equal parts uncertainty and purpose.

My first customers came from a Facebook group. They brought their own fabrics to my door, and I stitched each piece with care. Word spread. Colleagues told colleagues, and soon I began sourcing popular prints myself so I could reach more healthcare workers beyond my local area.

About a year (and a lot of overthinking) later, The Wyld One was born. Orders were still sliding into my DM's until, eventually, I opened a Shopify store and took a deep breath.

Since then, I’ve sewn over 5,000 scrub tops and shipped them across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. I now design custom-printed fabrics (after lots of trial, error, and triumph), and I’ve even dabbled in offshore manufacturing — though for now, I still love the hands-on, small-batch rhythm of doing things in-house.

What started with a few scrub tops to pass the time in lockdown has grown into a brand fuelled by care, creativity, and the people who wear these scrubs every day. Whether you're on shift or on the go, I’m so proud to be part of your uniform.
